Corporate Tax Manager Position
The role of the Corporate Tax Manager involves coordinating and managing the provision of taxation services for a book of corporate clients. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
Key responsibilities include delivering a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs. This involves supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes. The successful candidate will also be required to collaborate with specialist teams in bringing expertise to corporate clients in areas such as international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy and transactions.
Additionally, the Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for supervising and mentoring the team, fostering their career development and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance and collaboration.
Requirements
* Possess detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters.
* Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters).
