Job Title
The role of an Executive Officer is to provide high-level executive, secretariat, and project support services to the Secretary.
This includes providing strategic advice, managing communications and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the organisation's objectives.

* Provide strategic advice to the Secretary on matters related to child protection, out of home care, youth justice, and other areas as assigned.
* Manage communications and implement strategies to support the achievement of the organisation's objectives.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners.
* Contribute to the development of policy and procedural documents related to human services contracting in DCJ.
* Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements
Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential for this role. You should have highly effective communication skills, including the ability to express complex material in plain English.
Ability to manage demanding and competing deadlines is crucial. You should also be able to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders, work autonomously, and experience working within some or all of the portfolio areas listed for the desired role (operational and/or policy experience).
Experience managing teams and working within an executive context is ideal.
