The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Contracts Administrator
to join our
Gold Coast
team.
In this role, you will take lead responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of projects, supporting the Project Manager to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
You'll work closely with the Project Manager, site teams and key stakeholders, owning major trade packages, managing risk and cash flow, and ensuring strong commercial outcomes across the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for managing contract and commercial functions throughout the project lifecycle across commercial construction projects, including:
* Leading procurement strategies, trade package scopes and purchasing schedules
* Administering head contracts and subcontractor agreements from award to final account
* Managing variations, claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence
* Owning project cash flow, forecasting and commercial reporting
* Managing and reviewing subcontractor progress claims and client claims
* Identifying and managing commercial risk, opportunities and cost efficiencies
* Working closely with Project Managers to drive strong commercial outcomes
* Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
What You'll Bring
You are a commercially experienced Senior Contracts Administrator who is comfortable taking ownership of complex commercial responsibilities. You'll also bring:
* 5–8 years' experience in contract administration within commercial construction
* Strong understanding of head contracts, subcontract agreements and construction law
* Proven ability to manage multiple work packages and support project teams
* Experience managing cash flow, forecasting and final accounts
* Experience using contract administration systems (Jobpac experience highly regarded)
* Strong leadership, communication and mentoring capability
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
