Summary
Under the direction of the Inside Sales Team Leader, Australia & New Zealand, the Inside Sales Associate is responsible for generating, growing, and maximizing World Courier's business opportunities and sales to drive overall revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
* Develop new and sustainable business within designated portfolio areas to achieve individual KPIs and overall success.
* Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for partnership growth to increase profitability and ROI.
* Represent World Courier in a professional manner, building on the organization's reputation.
* Actively engage with new and existing business opportunities, delivering solutions.
Experience and Skills
* Demonstrated experience meeting key performance indicators.
* Strong experience in a sales role.
* Significant experience in freight forwarding or science/laboratory industry.
* High level of computer literacy, sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Prior experience in a sales role preferred.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
* Ability to work autonomously and self‐direct work activities.
* Excellent relationship‐building skills with diverse stakeholders.
* Great phone manner and proactive attitude toward role.
* Sound numeracy and attention to detail.
* Strong time‐management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work flexibly within tight schedules and variable workloads.
