Media sales experience isn't necessary - candidates from diverse industry backgrounds often bring fresh perspectives and achieve outstanding results. You may come from professional services, financial services, technology solutions, corporate training, education, recruitment, real estate, events or marketing and advertising agencies. The essential attributes we seek include the ability to create meaningful opportunities that engage senior executives confidently, deliver exceptional customer care and provide strategic advisory value to clients.
Responsibilities
* Your Role: Connect with WA's Elite: Identify, reach out and build enduring relationships with senior executives, becoming a trusted advisor and valued partner.
* Drive Strategic Growth: Proactively identify opportunities in print and digital advertising, as well as event sponsorships, developing compelling campaigns that deliver measurable results.
* Champion Our Mission: Represent Business News passionately, embodying our vision to empower WA's business community.
* Achieve & Excel: Consistently meet and surpass ambitious sales targets within a supportive, high-achieving team culture.
* Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with our editorial, marketing and events teams to craft unique solutions that differentiate both you and your clients.
Ideal Candidate
You're a driven sales professional committed to being the best version of yourself and dedicated to high activity and high performance to build a long-term, rewarding career in sales. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to comfortably engage with senior executives and CEOs. A solid network, bravery and confidence from initial outreach to high-level interactions set you apart. Knowledge or experience in marketing or business is beneficial, as successful candidates often become trusted advisors to our clients.
