The Role
Ventia are looking to engage a Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our Department of Transport contract. This position will see you working at South Fremantle Boat Harbour, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This role will see you maintain a wide variety of built and jetty assets on the DOT Harbour.
Pay Rate: Permanent Full-Time Position, $3.46 - $49.17 per hour
Responsibilities
The Grounds Maintenance Team are responsible for, but not limited to:
* General grounds and gardening maintenance
* Floating jetty repairs and upkeep
* General facility and building maintenance
* Minor paving repairs and maintenance
* Safe operations of various mobile plant and equipment
* General labouring
Candidate
* Current C class driver's license
* Eager and willing to learn
* Hands‐on, reliable and safety‐focused
* Comfortable working across a variety of outdoor and maintenance tasks
* Able to pass a pre‐employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
* Will need a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks without supervision.
