The program
Helping locals and regulars feel at home in our store and providing great customer service. The Red Cross Shop Volunteer is a voluntary position, where you will be working with a team responsible for supporting the Rockhampton Branch Executives in the efficient and effective running of the shop. The store is operated by Rockhampton Red Cross branch as a fundraising activity.
The opportunity
If you have a flair for retail and presentation we would love to hear from you This role would suit someone who enjoys customer service and working in a team. Responsibilities include sorting, labelling donated items, serving customers and if comfortable handling money, may also include end of day register reconciliations. It would be suitable for someone who can make an ongoing weekly commitment.
The impact
As a Red Cross Shop Volunteer, you will provide a positive experience and a much needed service to the customers at the Red Cross Rockhampton shop; whilst raising money for Australian Red Cross. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World's largest humanitarian network.
Application Requirements
For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, organised through Red Cross.
