Overview
Our client based in the outer South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne is seeking a dynamic and experienced Spare Parts Manager to lead their parts division. In this hands-on leadership role you'll oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and deliver exceptional and timely service to both internal manufacturing and external customers. If you're passionate about team leadership, process improvement, and driving profitability, this may be the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Lead daily operations and ensure seamless parts distribution
* Manage inventory across warehouse, mobile vans, and satellite location
* Mentor, support and work hands on with your team of 4, to achieve targets
* Oversee supply to internal and external customers, including invoicing, and ERP system processes
* Drive department performance, profitability, and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Experience
* Proven leadership in a vehicle OEM or related environment
* Strong inventory management and cost control experience
* Customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship-building skills
* Hands-on, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach
* Experience with ERP systems
