Thisrole supports the delivery of RCR’s OEM equipment overhauls,site works, installations, commissioning, and audits by combiningdeep technical knowledge with frontline leadership. Operatingacross both site and office environments, the Technical Officer isresponsible for planning and supporting the execution of safe,high-quality, and commercially sound works.Key Responsibilities:Develop job deliverables, including scopes, estimates,proposals, schedules, QA/QC documentation, andmethodologies.Oversee the preparation of tooling and personnel compliancedocumentation for site mobilisation (e.g., tooling lists,pre-start packs) and complete directly when required.Coordinate onsite teams (supervisors, trades, HSE) duringproject execution.Oversee and lead daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks,and safety discussions.Provide ongoing support to supervisors to ensure maximumpresence and focus at the job front.Apply technical knowledge to support teams conductingoverhauls of OEM equipment.Interpret technical drawings and scopes; provide practicalguidance to field teams.Identify and document non-conformances and correctiveactions during execution.Ensure workmanship meets RCR and client qualityexpectations and complies with relevant AustralianStandards.Supervise and coordinate blue-collar field teams andexternal contractors.Support onboarding and competency verification of fieldcrews.Mentor junior supervisors and technicians, promoting highstandards in safety, quality, and technical execution.Identify and report variations or scope changes in realtime.Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and commercialcontrols.Maintain strong working relationships with clientrepresentatives, ensuring alignment on expectations anddelivery.Contribute to project close-out reports, lessons learned,and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications and RequirementsCertificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Tradesor Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic; orTertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or relateddisciplineValid Western Australian Drivers LicenceConstruction White CardSection 26 (Desirable)Essential CriteriaMinimum 5 years’ experience in a supervision orsuperintendent roleProven leadership of multi-disciplinary teamsStrong technical experience with fixed plant equipmentDemonstrated experience in delivering shutdowns orinstallations of fixed plant equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MicrosoftProjectAbility to interpret scopes, technical drawings, and QAproceduresExperience with estimating and schedule developmentExcellent communication and reporting skillsWhat we offer you:Excellent salary and benefits packageIncome Protection & Life InsurancePaid Parental Leave benefitsDiscounted Private Health InsuranceSalary Sacrifice optionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)About Us:Service Delivery is a key division of RCR Mining Technologies, amarket leader in the design and manufacture of innovative,award-winning materials handling solutions.
