Job Title: Senior Nursing Professor
University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Nursing Professor to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced educator, researcher, and leader to contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of achievement in research and teaching outcomes, with a collaborative nature and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, deliver, and coordinate courses within nursing undergraduate and postgraduate programs
* Contribute to the growth and development of the University's teaching and research capacity and output
* Make a significant research contribution in related areas
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Nursing and possession of a Doctoral degree (PhD) qualification in a relevant health discipline
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse or ability to apply and obtain
* An established and relevant portfolio of research, with evidence of securing competitive funding, publications in refereed journals and/or quality NTROs and supervision of HDR students
* Experience of course co-ordination and teaching students in undergraduate, preregistration and postgraduate nursing programs
* Academic leadership experience – e.g. program leadership, curriculum development, course design and course writing
