MS Technologies Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems, building secure and reliable systems, and contributing to continuous improvement across software development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse business and system requirements to design, develop, and enhance software solutions aligned with organisational needs.
* Develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality application code in accordance with established coding standards, testing protocols, and quality frameworks.
* Identify limitations or inefficiencies in existing systems and recommend improvements to processes, architecture, and technologies.
* Manage and support software testing, release processes, and automated deployment pipelines to ensure stable and secure system delivery.
* Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including system designs, operational procedures, and end-user guidance.
* Contribute technical expertise to software design decisions, upgrades, and system enhancements, including evaluation of new tools and technologies.
* Monitor system performance and operational metrics, using insights to drive optimisation and continuous delivery initiatives.
* Design and develop tools that support system functionality, management, and security.
* Apply security-focused practices such as data protection, encryption methods, and risk mitigation throughout the software lifecycle.
* Investigate system anomalies, faults, or security concerns and assist in identifying root causes and preventative measures.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Other Skills and Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience as Software Engineer
* Proven experience in software development and system analysis.
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
* Experience working with secure systems and an understanding of performance and security considerations.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing responsibilities independently.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for technical documentation.
