Duties and Responsibilities
* Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
* Social Support: Accompany clients to social events, appointments, and grocery shopping while fostering meaningful relationships.
* Domestic Assistance: Provide light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation services to support clients' daily needs.
* Aid and Equipment Use: Help clients navigate assistive technologies and personal equipment for enhanced independence.
* Complex Needs Support: Offer specialized care to clients requiring additional support and guidance.
* Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess client well-being and report on their progress.
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a talent for building rapport with clients. A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services is highly regarded but not essential.
