About the role
Provide high-quality, evidence-based, flexible, and responsive speech pathology services to clients at Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre (BCRC). Demonstrate team-oriented professional leadership within the BCRC interdisciplinary team and Barwon Health speech pathology teams. Support the development of less experienced staff and undergraduate students through teaching, supervision, and guidance, while managing designated portfolios and quality improvement projects aligned with Barwon Health's Strategic Plan and Belmont CRC and Speech Pathology Department Business Plans.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for communication and swallowing disorders
* Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop goal‐directed rehabilitation plans with consumers and carers
* Provide supervision, teaching and support to Grade 1 Speech Pathologists, Allied Health Assistants and students
