We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team at our New Mexican-inspired restaurant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and wants to learn more about fresh, flavourful cooking.
About the role:
As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play an important part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You’ll support the chefs with prep work, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure our dishes are made with care and consistency.
Key responsibilities:
* Assisting chefs with basic food prep
* Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
* Receiving and storing deliveries
* Following food safety and hygiene standards
* Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
What we’re looking for:
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
* Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
