About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Officer to join our Organisation Development team to assist with developing the capabilities of employees across the organisation.
Reporting to the Coordinator, the role will work closely with the Learning and Development Business Partner to coordinate and support the delivery of effective Learning and Development programs including e‐learning modules and organisational development initiatives, and will be responsible for administering Council's Learning Management System.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in learning and development or an administrative field and/or equivalent experience
* Experience providing confidential administrative support
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage time, plan and organise workloads, and set priorities
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
* Capability to handle multiple tasks, identify priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities efficiently
* Judgement in applying established procedures and problem‐solving within parameters
* High‐level computer skills in Microsoft Office
* Teamwork flexibility and willingness to adapt
* Highly motivated, professional and self‐disciplined with limited direction and supervision
* Current driver's licence
What you will need to have for this role
* The right to live and work in Australia
* Provide information for pre‐employment checks, including a physical medical examination as required
* Participate in health monitoring as outlined in the risk assessment and Council's Health Monitoring Procedure
Salary information
* Grade 9 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,503.92 to $1,842.30 per week, plus 12% superannuation
* The commencing salary will be negotiated based on the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role

Employment terms
* Permanent, full‐time position
* 70 hour fortnight
