**About the company**:
Our client has operated as an optometry practice and optical retail store in Bendigo for over 40 years. They pride themselves on their independent, family-run business principles, and their ability to provide exceptional customer service and support our local community. They are looking for an Optical/ Administration Assistant who is interested in gaining experience as an optical dispenser to join their busy team.
**Hours**:
Week 1: Monday - Thursday 8:30-5:30 + Fri 8:30-4:30pm (39.0 hours)
Week 2: Tuesday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 + Sat 9:00 - 1pm (36.0 hours)
**About the role**:
- Providing exceptional customer service.
- Booking patient appointments with the optometrists.
- Assisting with minor spectacle repairs.
- Assisting customers with frame selection and sunglasses sales.
- Selecting and ordering stock.
This role has **scope for growth,** and it is expected that more complex duties be undertaken as experience grows.
**About you**:
- Must have exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be reliable and have exceptional time management skills.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
