Our client is a highly successful ASX-listed Australian organisation with a complex local and international production and distribution network. A unique supply chain process improvement opportunity has arisen in their business, based out of their headquarters in central Melbourne.
**About The Role**
Reporting through to the Head of Supply Chain and leading a small team of direct reports, the Supply Chain Performance Lead is a critical role responsible for gaining an in depth understanding of end to end supply chain processes, and identifying areas for improvement across a complex domestic and international production and distribution network. Key accountabilities include:
**Duties**
- Managing a range of proccess improvement initiatives relating to functions in the supply chain such as domestic and international logistics, warehousing, inventory and fleet / asset management.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement and cohesion across a large national supply chain team.
- Leading data-driven inititiaves to effectively manage the performance of a range of national 3rd party logistics partners.
- Drive best in class inventory management practice that aligns to broader organisational working capital policy.
**Skills & Experience**
- A demonstrated track record of improving processes, delivering efficiences or taking cost out of complex global supply chain functions.
- Exposure to a range of supply chain functions in varied industry sectors.
- Either formal training or qualifications in process engineering, or extensive experience in process improvement on the job.
- A first class communicator and negotiator, with the ability to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
