Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing administrative support to employees across various departments, ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate new hire onboarding procedures, including documentation and communication with hiring managers
* Manage the HR inbox via our ticketing system, responding to employee queries and concerns
* Support internal employee communication and office updates, maintaining a positive work environment
* Assist in interpreting and explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
* Lead employee engagement activities and events, promoting a culture of inclusivity and teamwork
* Provide administrative support to the Recruitment team, scheduling interviews and conducting background checks
* Coordinate employee benefit programs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
* Offer ad-hoc project support, assisting with special projects and initiatives
Requirements
* 1-3+ years' experience in a related HR role or similar field
* Bachelor's Degree or tertiary qualification in HR, Business Administration, or relevant field
* Experience assisting employees with basic workplace queries, such as leave balances and pay inquiries
* Proficiency in using internal HR systems, including data analytics tools
* Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws and statutes for employment
* Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization
* Proven organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office
* Experience with data analytics is highly desirable
