The Role
At Flight One Engineering (a CASA approved Part 145 MRO), we are looking for a proactive Technical Records Officer to enhance our aircraft engineering and quality assurance teams. This position plays a pivotal role in creating a seamless link between compliant work production and our finance department, with a strong emphasis on delivering quality service to our customers and stakeholders while prioritizing safety. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to effectively manage aircraft technical data, oversee maintenance documentation, edit and publish documents, and ensure the integrity of the Flight One Group's quality assurance platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer robust document control and data management support to our engineers, ensuring smooth use of products and services.
- Standardize, edit, and improve documentation for clarity and compliance.
- Coordinate thorough reviews of documentation along with accurate data entry.
- Ensure timely delivery of documents to external parties.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers to meet data generation schedules and requirements.
- Participate actively in the administration of technical reviews and working groups.
- Facilitate the progression of change items through the review and configuration management process with the Quality Manager and senior leadership.
- Aid in the identification, registration, and resolution of problems.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in the aviation industry in a relevant role (e.g., LAME/AME/TA) is highly desirable.
- A positive attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with the team and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
