Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - TRAINEE
This traineeship offers the opportunity to undertake part time study while being employed full time with Council. This position is to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities in Civil Engineering necessary to assist the functions of Council's Development Engineering Section. Also provide professional engineering advice, support and guidance with respect to development engineering issues generally and in relation to development proposals/projects (i.e. applications for subdivision and planning approval) for internal & external stakeholders.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Starting salary $827.40 per week plus superannuation. Remuneration offered will be in accordance with clause 32C for Trainee Employment and Apprenticeships as per the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
