We’re currently looking for a full time 1st year apprentice to join a local company and start a rewarding career in a heavy vehicle service team in Shepparton.
This vacancy is within a busy workshop and requires applicants to have a genuine passion for this industry. We require candidates to be energetic, positive and a self-starter.
The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical technology, connected to the local GOTAFE campus for their training.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Cert III Heavy Vehicle qualification AUR31120 attending GOTAFE Shepparton Campus.
Qualities needed:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and available weekends to work on the Saturday rotations roster.
- Demonstrate initiative and follow instructions
- General interest in the Automotive Industry
- Previous work placement or exposure to the Automotive industry
Qualification / Skills
- Current drivers licence
Cert II in Automotive (pre-apprenticeship) would be an advantage.
