The Opportunity
We're excited to offer an opportunity to join the team at Reine & La Rue as an Assistant Bar Manager. As we continue to grow our beverage offering, we're looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to help lead our bar team.
This role is suitable for someone with a strong background in premium venues who thrives in fast-paced, guest-focused service. You'll play a hands-on role in daily operations, support and develop the team, and help shape the cocktail and beverage program.

Our ideal candidate will have
- Experience working in and managing high-volume, premium bar environments.
- A strong understanding of cocktail creation and beverage service, with the ability to support and contribute to an evolving drinks program.
- The confidence to lead a small team during service, guiding both experienced and junior bartenders.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a larger management team.
- A solid knowledge of spirits, wines, and beverages, French focus a bonus, and a passion for continued learning.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.
- An eye for detail and a guest-first mindset, with a flair for adding personalised touches to the experience.
- A collaborative and positive attitude, with a desire to lead by example and inspire those around you.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to high standards of service.
- The ability to work independently, always showing professionalism, respect, and kindness.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
