About the Role
Glenorchy City Council is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (Cert III) to join our teams at our Benjafield and Berriedale Early Education & Care Services. As an Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a vital role in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences, while ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child. You'll be part of a collaborative, professional team that's making a meaningful difference in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care with a strong focus on safety, health, and wellbeing.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment that supports every child's growth and development.
* Be supportive and professional in delivering excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
* A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or be actively working towards one.
* Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF V2.0.
* A collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a deep appreciation for family engagement.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar setting.
* A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People – Child Related Activity.

Days and Position Hours
Monday to Friday, part‐time base hours 20 hours per week up to 38 hours per week.
