Department for Health and Wellbeing – Corporate and Infrastructure – Procurement Supply Chain & Finance Salary: $108,109 to $116,864 – ASO7 – Full Time / Ongoing appointment Overview: The Manager Demand Planning for SA Health is responsible for managing all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analysing inventory flow, and developing forecast models. The key objectives for this role are: Developing, managing, and delivering results on major projects (and sub-projects) relating to business improvement, operational reform, and change management. The primary focus areas will be the implementation of a demand and forecast team including inventory planning, management of inventory and imprest items, re-ordering function, review of inventory levels based on future customer demands, set-up of the imprest coordinators roles and identification of areas of improvements and recommendation of action plans. Reviewing, analysing, interrogating, developing, initiating, managing, and delivering results on multiple inventory optimisation and demand planning functions across the supply chain stream within PSCM. Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products providing support in developing seasonal demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends. Strengthen internal controls, mechanisms, processes, and systems that ensure increased service delivery capability of SA Health’s demand planning processes and system functions. Supervising the Imprest Coordinator function to ensure stock accuracy and management is achieved within the imprest rooms. Supervising the state-wide replenishment service for the SA Health Distribution Centre and Bulk Stores. The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
