Your new role
Reporting to the Manager Brand & Marketing, this role plays a key role in supporting the development and delivery of engaging digital communications, social media content, event promotion and website updates to build brand presence and maximise stakeholder engagement. Using our digital marketing platforms, you will contribute to lifting the profile of Australia's manufacturing skills priorities.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, gathering insights to inform content and supporting the development of marketing materials, analytics reporting, media opportunities, internal/external communications and event-related marketing activity.
Your key responsibilities
This is a 'hands-on' broad based marketing coordination role, where initiative and role ownership is key - more specifically, you will:
* Support copywriting for social media, newsletters, website and media releases
* Coordinate LinkedIn and other social channels, enhancing our digital presence
* Basic design of marketing materials, videos, brochures and reports
* Produce marketing analytics and performance reports to inform future campaigns
* Assist with event-related organisation, promotion and stakeholder communications
* Support activities that lift the organisation's media and public profile
Your skills and attributes
We are looking for someone with:
* 2–3 years' experience in a similar role
* Aptitude with digital marketing, social media management, and email campaign coordination.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and platforms.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output across all content and channels.
* Proven planning capability, able to prioritise, and deliver multiple projects within tight deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* The capacity to collaborate and build effective working relationships across teams and with external partners.
* Experience in Canva, HubSpot, and Monday.com or similar platforms, with a genuine interest in exploring AI-driven marketing tools.
* Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth.
* The ability to respond to evolving business needs and fast-paced environments.
