Financial Accountant Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, ensure industry compliance, and support the company's overall financial health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Assisting with month-end tasks
">
* Obtaining and reviewing individual investees' financial data
">
* Providing analysis and commentary on major variances and significant events
">
* Providing accounting and tax support to investees as required
">
* Reviewing group consolidated data and preparing group balance sheet reconciliations
">
* Assisting with year-end and half-year-end financial report preparation
">
* Preparing tax returns and tax journals for investees using CTS software
">
* Supporting the Operations team for due diligence and related transactions
">
* Participating in continuous process improvement
">
* Assisting with audit queries from external auditors
">
* Performing ad-hoc projects and duties as needed
">
">
To succeed in this role, you will require:
">
* A degree and CA or CPA qualification
">
* A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
">
* A high level of professionalism and attention to detail
">
* Energetic, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
">
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
">
* Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
">
* A strong team player who can work autonomously when required
">
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP desirable
">
* Experience within a Big 4 or mid-tier-chartered firm preferred
">
