About The Role:
As a casual companion carer, you will provide in-home support and companionship to elderly clients through scheduled two-hour services. The role involves travelling between clients homes using your own vehicle.
Key Duties May Include:
* Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
* Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
* Changing bed linen and making beds.
* Laundry assistance.
* Meal preparation.
* Shopping and transport assistance.
* Accompanying clients on walks, social outings or recreational activities.
* Supporting hobbies and light gardening.
* Following health, safety and company policies to ensure clients wellbeing.
What You Will Need:
* Current Australian Federal Police Check.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Valid Australian Drivers Licence.
* Reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Legal working rights in Australia.
* Smartphone with Internet access.
* Higher School Certificate or Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support (experience preferred but not essential).
