Role Description
This full-time hybrid role is located in Townsville, QLD, with some work from home flexibility. The Business Development Manager for Blastcon Australia will focus on developing sales of our drill and blast digitalization solutions to the mining industry, both open pit and underground. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, preparing and presenting proposals, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure client needs are met. The role also involves market analysis and participating in industry events to promote our solutions.
Qualifications
* Business development, Sales, and Negotiation skills
* Experience in the mining industry, particularly in drill and blast processes
* Technical knowledge of digitalization solutions and explosives
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently and in a hybrid working environment
* Proficiency in market analysis and identifying business opportunities
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
* Willingness to travel as required
