Our client is a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer and a national leader in engineered concrete stormwater systems. What will you be doing?
* Creating accurate 3D CAD models and assembly drawings
* Preparing technical drawings for tooling, components, and equipment
* Maintaining the engineering drawings database
* Assisting with supplier RFQs and manufacturing tenders
* Inspecting and measuring parts for drawing development and QC checks
* Collaborating with engineers, production and supply chain teams
What do you need?
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Draftsperson in a fabrication environment
* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering highly desired
* Proficient with 3D CAD modelling in Autodesk Inventor and 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD
* Ability to understand and apply Australian Standards to develop fit-for-purpose engineering drawings
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
* Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in groups and individually
* Australian Driver's Licence
