My client (a pioneer in the Agentic AI design, space) is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Kubernetes and cloud-native application deployment to join their team. This role is responsible for designing, leading, and governing the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions, ensuring alignment with both technical best practice and business outcomes.
The Solution Architect will operate at a strategic level, owning end-to-end architecture, translating business requirements into robust technical designs, and providing technical leadership across delivery teams.
Responsibilities
* Design end-to-end architectures for deploying applications on Kubernetes platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
* Define and govern architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for Kubernetes-based solutions.
* Design microservices and/or monolithic architectures optimised for containerised environments, covering orchestration, networking, and storage.
* Develop reference architectures and solution blueprints, including high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance.
* Architect solutions across managed Kubernetes services, as well as hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring portability and resilience.
* Ensure seamless integration of Kubernetes platforms with existing systems, including CI/CD pipelines, databases, and external APIs.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Systems Architecture, or Senior Software Engineering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
* Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, production-grade Kubernetes environments.
* Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design patterns.
* Experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and modern DevOps practices.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly.
