We are currently looking for an experienced, passionate and customer‐centric Oral Health Therapist to join the network on a Locum basis. As a Locum OHT, you will support sites across Metropolitan Sydney as the needs come through that matches your availability.
Please note this role is not applicable for Graduate OHTs and a minimum of 2 + years is required. Minimum availability of 3 or more days required.
About you and the role:
* Assist patients in developing and maintaining good oral health
* Accurately interpret treatment plans, aims and objectives and maintain accurate detailed clinical records
* Gather data relevant to the dentist's direction and concurrently assess patients' presenting condition
* Adhere to infection protocols and practices
* Provide routine dental treatment for people of all ages including dental examinations and diagnosis
* Treat people of all ages for oral health conditions, taking radiographs, fluoride therapy etc.
* Actively promote comprehensive dentistry and active maintenance
