**About the Role**
Uber Direct is changing the way delivery is done around the world. We allow brands to leverage Uber's fleet of delivery partners to offer world leading speed and reliability for orders made through their existing websites or apps.
We have developed Partnerships with Merchants across a variety of verticals, including Restaurants and Retail, and are only just getting started. Uber Direct will change the way consumers shop in ANZ bringing a new level of convenience and reliability that helps people get almost almost anything where and when they want.
We are looking for the right person to join the ANZ Uber Direct Operations team in the Delivery Operations role. You will lead product rollouts to improve reliability, conduct data analysis to identify opportunities to improve the delivery experience and execute on strategic projects.
This is a highly cross functional role, where success depends on having strong problem solving skills and communication skills. You'll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves and work in a fast paced environment.
**Your Impact in Role**
- Develop new processes and optimize existing one to improve the delivery experience - this includes improving core reliability metrics including completion rates and on-time rates
- Own the delivery experience product roadmap - this involves supporting global and regional teams with the implementation and rollout of new product features and capabilities
- Monitor operational performance of Uber Direct and conduct detailed data analysis
- Manage the end to end project management of strategic projects to improve the delivery experience
- Support the broader Uber Direct team with the day-to-day management of the Uber Direct product
- Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to drive outcomes
**The Experience You'll Bring**
- A proven track record - You'll have 3+ years of business management, analytics or operations experience in a dynamic environment.
- A self-starter who thrives on solving complex problems: Uber Direct is a complex product and there are a lot new challenges to solve
- Proactivity - A willingness to deeply understand all aspects of the delivery experience, you are always looking for continuous improvement opportunities and you are able to build, optimize and improve processes to achieve better results with less
- Strong stakeholder management skills to work cross functionally and build effective relationships in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong operational and data analytical aptitude, including SQL
- Commercial and business acumen - You have a strong understanding of how businesses and organizations work together to achieve their goals
- Project management skills - with the support of your manager you will need to be able to manage a project from start to end
- Previous experience in last-mile (shipper or carrier side) or general logistics is a plus, but not required.
