**Self Storage Facility Assistant (Independent Contractor)**

**About the Role**:
This is a casual contractor position with sporadic hours, ideal for someone seeking flexible work. We offer a variety of tasks, from keeping the facility tidy to assisting tenants with move-ins.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Clear out unoccupied storage units (following proper procedures).**:
- **Maintain a clean and organized facility through general tidying and cleaning.**:
- **Advertise our facility by holding a sign for a couple of hours on Saturdays near a traffic area.**:
- **Occasionally act as a "Man with a Van," assisting tenants with moving belongings into storage units (light lifting involved).**:
- **Secure storage units by overlocking them.**:
- **Operate a forklift to empty skip bins or complete other assigned tasks (forklift license desirable, training may be provided).**:
- **Be prepared to tackle various ad-hoc tasks around the facility, ensuring smooth operation.**
**Qualifications**:
- ABN holder is a must.
- Physically fit and able to perform light manual labor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license (clean record preferred).
