Position: Support Worker in Sydney & Wollongong
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their daily activities
* Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and physical exercises
* Help with household tasks and meal preparation
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Monitor and report on clients' health and well-being
Requirements:
* Speak fluent English - Essential
* Experience in Mental Health & Complex Behaviour - Highly regarded
* Experience with working with immobile participants - Highly regarded
* Experienced in Medication Administration
* Competent in reading / following care plans, writing and documenting accurate detailed shift notes & incident reports.
* Valid Australian Driver's License & own reliable transport
* Experience with Manual Handling
* Reliable, well-presented with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Support Work
* NDIS clearance
* First Aid & CPR certification
* Police Check
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Excellent English verbal communication skills
* NDIS orientation modules
* Infection Control cert
* Must have full working rights to work in Australia
* 3 mininum contactable references
