We are seeking a seasoned coding professional to join our team as an Auditor and Educator. As a pivotal member of our National Coding Team, you will play a key role in driving excellence in education, quality, and operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICD-10-AM Coding, with experience in health fund contract compliance. You will be responsible for coordinating audit and education cycles to identify areas for improvement and revenue optimisation.
* Coordinate audit and education cycles to drive quality improvements and revenue growth.
* Participate in onsite and remote auditing programs to ensure seamless processes.
* Support the Revenue Cycle team in assessing Casemix variations, audit queries, and implementing process improvements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Minimum 5 years of coding experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
* Experience with private health sector funding and billing requirements.
* Familiarity with DRG's and Casemix funding models.
* A Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
