What you'll be doing
As a Telephonist Level 2, you will deliver customer-centred call centre services for WSLHD's Oral Health Service. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive timely, accurate and compassionate support.
In this role, you will:
* Operate multi-line telephones and manage high-volume calls with professionalism
* Conduct eligibility checks and complete Priority Oral Health Program (POHP) triage questionnaires
* Maintain accurate patient records and update key data including contact and entitlement details
* Book patient appointments, coordinate interpreter services and manage cancellations
* Support waitlist management, handle patient complaints and liaise with booking offices and system administrators
