Juniper Gerdewoonem is a culturally connected aged care home located in Kununurra, providing personalised and respectful care for up to 40 residents, The home is designed in partnership with the local community and Elders, ensuring care that honours identity, family, and cultural traditions. Residents enjoy multiple communal areas, outdoor courtyards, lush gardens, and spaces designed for connection, activity, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised, customer‐focused care that supports wellbeing and meaningful moments for residents.
* Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and the local community.
* Lead, coach, and motivate a compassionate and high‐performing team.
* Collaborate with corporate services to oversee budgets and financial performance.
* Manage roster costs, income, and expenditure to meet budget expectations.
* Drive and support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in risk assessments, safety programs, and hazard control processes.
Key Requirements
* Qualifications in business, leadership, or a clinical discipline (AHPRA registration desirable where applicable).
* Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Demonstrated understanding of, and genuine respect for, Aboriginal culture, with the ability to build strong, culturally safe relationships with customers, families, Traditional Owners, and the wider East Kimberley community.
* Experience leading culturally responsive care practices, including supporting staff to deliver services that honour local customs, languages, and community expectations.
* Demonstrated leadership capability and experience managing change.
* Skills in business and financial planning.
* Competence in information systems for reporting and operational decision‐making.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with local community stakeholders.
* Successful completion of key personnel checks, including National Police Clearance and Bankruptcy check.
