Job Summary
Support multiple rooms, age groups, and teams across varied shifts at the Carrum Family and Children's Centre, ensuring high‐quality, responsive care and education.
Remuneration and Hours
- Band 4 – $74,303 – $79,054 per annum (pro‐rated) plus superannuation dependent on experience
- Location: Carrum Family and Children's Centre
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children and ensure safety across rooms and age groups.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts and stepping into different team environments.
- Build and maintain relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Maintain effective daily routines and systems.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
- Collaborate with leaders, educators, families, and community to ensure consistent, high‐quality practice.
- Adhere to the National Quality Standards, National Regulations, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Support delivery of high‐quality programs responsive to individual strengths and needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Confidence and flexibility working across varied shift times, rooms, age groups and team environments, with the ability to build rapport and provide high‐quality practice.
- Experience supporting children of different ages and abilities and working with diverse teams.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check.
- Level 2 First Aid certification, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis management and CPR.
- Sound understanding of the Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National Quality Standards, and current Regulations.
