The Opportunity
We are seeking a Multi-Ticketed Plant Operator to join our team at Olympic Dam. As an Operator at MPS, you will play a key role in supporting operations through the safe and efficient use of plant and equipment across a range of projects. Working as part of a supportive team, you will also assist with general site tasks as required, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operating a variety of plant and equipment
* Conducting pre-start visual inspections and checklist on mobile plant and equipment
* Performing basic servicing of equipment including cleaning, refuelling, and minor repairs.
* Supporting project setup, site housekeeping, and safe work area establishment
* Contributing to process improvements and promoting safe work practices
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* Minimum of 3 plant operator tickets
* Demonstrated experience operating plant and equipment
* Underground experience desirable
* A positive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A current Australian driver's licence
* Construction Industry White Card
* Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical
