About the role Reporting to the Superintendent - Mobile Maintenance, the Supervisor (Mobile Maintenance) provides leadership and coordination of mobile maintenance crews to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance of underground and surface mobile equipment.
This role plays a critical part in delivering equipment reliability and performance across Ernest Henry.
Key responsibilities include: Leading and mentoring tradespeople and apprentices to deliver safe and reliable maintenance outcomes Fulfilling the obligations of a supervisor under the Mining and Quarrying Acts and regs Communicating daily maintenance plans and priorities to crew members Allocating work and monitoring performance against requirements Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and site safety standards Supporting shutdowns, breakdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives Building a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork across the crew About you The ideal candidate will hold a trade qualification and Supervisor competencies (S1, S2, S3), with significant experience in mobile plant maintenance within mining.
You will bring strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be resilient, solutions-focused, and committed to safety and continuous improvement.
Experience with heavy mobile equipment and statutory compliance is essential.
