About the Project
* The successful candidate will oversee and lead engineering for critical offshore operations, including installation of 200t precast intake structures for a new seawater supply plant, laying of a 2m diameter, 140m long HDPE outfall diffuser pipeline, coordination of offshore piling, drilling, and grouting works, oversight of complex temporary works and subsea diving operations, and supporting marine logistics and offshore scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical guidance to the construction delivery team to support the delivery of this unique multi-disciplinary package of marine construction works.
* Lead and mentor younger engineers, ensuring adherence to financial and contractual parameters during the delivery stages.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in marine construction or offshore infrastructure delivery.
* Background in piling, heavy lifting, marine logistics, tunnelling or underwater installations.
* At least 5 years in a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer or leadership role within civil/marine environments in Australia for contractors.
* Minimum Bachelors degree in construction (civil/structural/marine) or related field.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
* Deep understanding of HS&E standards and best practices.
* Ability to operate with confidence and authority on technically challenging scopes.
