The position is based in Albert Park with a leading company with a strong emphasis on client relationship management.About the Role - This is a new role for this location of the business where you will be responsible for building a small team. You will be reporting through to a National Credit Manager. This role is a blend of managing client relationships internal and external, staff, analysis and debt management.Responsibilities -Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.Team Leadership: Recruiting and building a small team. Set goals and KPIs for the team, mentor and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and operational direction to the credit team.Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.Assessment: Full control and director of the credit assessment process -approval of limits etc.Collections: Discuss escalation of debt and referral and management of process with external partiesQualifications -Experience: Strong commercial credit background with previous Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager experience.Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.Communication: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff, internal divisions, and external customers.
