About the Role
Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Operations Manager to join our dynamic operations team. As an Events Operations Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing large-scale events, concerts, and festivals at our multi-venue entertainment precinct.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of events, ensuring seamless execution and positive outcomes. You will work closely with the venue manager and general manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, with experience in managing teams, liaising with promoters and event partners, and delivering high-quality results within budget constraints. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee large-scale events, including concerts, festivals, and functions
* Manage event logistics, including venue setup, staffing, and equipment
* Develop and implement event plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards
* Build and maintain strong relationships with event partners, promoters, and stakeholders
* Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in event management, preferably in a similar role
* Proven track record of delivering successful events, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating and guiding teams to achieve results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field
