Code Camp is Australia's leading specialist school holiday and after-school provider We run programs that teach topics like animation, DJ, YouTube, STEM, Roblox, Minecraft, drone, video game creation We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to help deliver our lesson plans creative-tech camps during the Autumn school holidays.
**Are you**:
- Experienced or interested in working with kids (ages 5-12)?
- Passionate about creativity and are tech-savvy?
- Trustworthy, independent, punctual and reliable?
- Someone who feels confident speaking in front of a group and is enthusiastic and adaptable?
- Able to work full days between 8am - 4pm for camp running **Monday 8th February - Wednesday 10th April **(with future casual employment opportunities available once onboarded)
**About the position**:
Paid training provided as well as support from a qualified teacher on the ground and our tech-support team via Slack. Please note, our staff are required to supply their own Laptop and HDMI adapter (if required).
**Required Skills/Certifications**:
Whilst we don't require a specific degree or experience, you should have some of the following experience (or similar):
- Experience or passion for some or all of the following topics: Animation, social media, STEM, drone, Minecraft, Roblox, coding.
- Experience working with young kids preferred
- Mature outlook, common sense and ability to identify and take action to manage risk and ensure active supervision of children inside and outside the classroom
- Fluent conversational English
- Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain immediately)
