About the Role 
We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our professional and passionate kitchen team. You will be responsible for managing your own section, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish, mentoring junior staff, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods. 
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established, high-volume kitchen where creativity, teamwork, and professionalism are celebrated. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines 
- Run your designated section with confidence during service 
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked workstation (mise en place) 
- Train, mentor, and support junior chefs and kitchen hands 
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning and cost control 
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards (HACCP compliant) 
- Monitor stock levels, reduce wastage, and ensure efficient use of ingredients 
- Maintain and monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs 
What We're Looking For 
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery OR at least 3 years' experience in a similar role 
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations 
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of different cooking techniques 
- Calm under pressure and capable of delivering quality at volume 
- Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills 
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence 
- Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
