We’re seeking a friendly and reliable Venue Caretaker to join our team at 238 Castlereagh Street. This casual position involves 5 mornings per week (including one weekend), 6:00am–11:00am.
About the Role
You’ll be the welcoming presence in our four-storey venue outside of trading hours, ensuring the building is clean, well-presented, and ready for the day.
Key duties include:
- Overseeing cleanliness, presentation and general maintenance of all spaces.
- Opening the venue each morning (disarming, lights, air-con, music, ambience).
- Welcoming clients, guests and suppliers with coffee/refreshments.
- Accepting deliveries and assisting with stocktake.
- Coordinating supplier access and overseeing repairs.
- Assisting with event set-ups, pack-downs, and client bump-ins/outs.
- Greeting guests and hosting site inspections when security is not present.
