Music and Arts Teacher
Teach Queensland offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to students' individual needs. Our social skilling program focuses on understanding differences in people and teamwork.
* Teachers will lead music and arts activities while delivering key tasks, including:
1. Curriculum Development: Plan, prepare, and deliver quality teaching programs aligned with Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and relevant syllabi.
2. Competency Maintenance: Maintain teaching competency and stay up-to-date with relevant curriculum programs as required by the department or other statutory authorities.
3. Student Support: Support students through various settings and develop supportive learning environments.
4. Wellbeing and Development: Provide physical, social, cultural, and emotional wellbeing for students and enhance their development towards effective citizenship and responsible adulthood.
5. Assessment: Assess students for developmental, feedback, and reporting purposes.
The ideal candidate will possess
* A relevant teaching qualification.
* Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
* Registration with Blue Card Services for Education and Care Services.
