The opportunity
A new and exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator position within the Palliative and Supportive Care Team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education, aligning with best practice and responding to emerging needs.
The Learning and Development (L&D;) Coordinator is responsible, in collaboration with the Palliative and Supportive Care (PaSCE) Manager, for the development, implementation and review of educational programs for Health Professionals and Volunteers.
Based in Subiaco, this position is part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed-term until 30 June 2027.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating, developing and reviewing comprehensive and structured frameworks that clearly explains the intent, development and delivery of PaSCE educational programs, in line with organisational goals.
- Researching and recommending new and upcoming training opportunities and technologies.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships whilst maintaining knowledge of education offerings.
- Conducting and understanding stakeholder analysis to ensure deliverables are unique and distinguishes itself from similar programs within the market.
- Promoting, maintaining and enhancing the PaSCE brand, key messaging, and content quality across all marketing and educational activities.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management or Health related disciplines.
- Excellent and effective communication skills.
- Ability to create and deliver on education programs grounded in adult learning principles.
- Proven technical skills with a strong understanding of the principles of a learning management system.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 applications, and online conferencing platforms.
- Strong numeracy and data entry skills.
- High level of attention to detail, organisational and time management skills and the ability to meet competing and tight deadlines.
- Knowledge or relevant experience working in palliative care or health environment background would be highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA.
