Responsibilities
* Coaching a team of embedded data scientists to deliver insights, experimentation, and strategic clarity across the logged‑in experience.
* Owning key metrics for onboarding, personalization, and lifecycle journeys – and using them to guide decisions.
* Leading end‑to‑end experimentation, from designing hypotheses to rollout recommendations.
* Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to drive engagement, retention, and activation outcomes.
* Uplifting experimentation and BI foundations across Snowflake, Looker, and Canva's internal tools.
* Translating data into actionable recommendations – and setting the standard for high‑impact analysis and storytelling.
* Enabling data‑driven, personalized user experiences at scale – across onboarding, resurrection, triggers, and next‑best actions.
Qualifications
* Led and coached data scientists within a fast‑paced product environment.
* Strong expertise in experimentation, retention analytics, and lifecycle metrics.
* Fluent in SQL and comfortable with data wrangling in Python or R.
* Experience with SaaS product datasets and balancing rigor and speed.
* Crafted clear, evidence‑based recommendations that drive decisions.
* Ability to turn complexity into clarity for non‑technical stakeholders.
* Enjoys growing people and raising the bar for storytelling, experimentation, and impact.
