This is an exciting chance to lead a team in enhancing the Catholic identity of a school. The Assistant Principal – Religious Education (APRE) plays a key role in fostering the religious life of the school and ensuring the effective teaching of Religion.

+ is a practising Catholic with a sound understanding of, and commitment to Catholic education
+ can foster a culture of inspirational teaching and learning and lead the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives
+ has the interpersonal skills to build partnerships within the school and with the local community
* Mandatory Requirements:
o Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
o Australian work rights
About the Role
The APRE will be responsible for leading a team and working closely with the Principal to enhance the Catholic identity of the school. This includes fostering a culture of inspirational teaching and learning, and leading the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives.
